Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026 (draft)
The short version
Vendor Status Dashboard runs entirely in your browser. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no backend of ours. No personal data leaves your machine.
What the extension collects
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data.
What stays on your machine
- Your list of monitored vendors and settings, stored in Chrome’s local extension storage.
- Cached status results and (on Pro) incident history, also stored locally.
Network requests the extension makes
The extension polls the public status pages of the vendors you choose, directly from your browser. Those requests go to the vendors’ status services (e.g. Statuspage-powered pages) and are subject to those vendors’ own policies. If you configure a Slack webhook (Pro), notifications are sent directly from your browser to the webhook URL you provide.
